Rip it down and start again

Daft Punk - Technologic (George Wigzell's Rip Down and Start Again Refit)

haha. I'm quite new to the making music game, and this is the first effort I've felt like sharing - and it's still not complete, or properly mixed - generally rough sounding, a work in progress - and I've labelled it as a Daft Punk Remix for now until I find a different vocal line to use. I've also always wanted my own silly remix name so 'George Wigzell's Rip Down and Start Again Refit' seemed like a good starting point. Anyways, disclaimers aside, feedback appreciated.

needs a bass line, or the bass cranking right up, and some work on the drums.

good work though. has this had a lofi playout yet? if this goes down well, theres hope for exeter yet.

Cheers for the feedback - yeh gave it a little preview outing at Lofi on Weds, but is was a very quiet night so doesn't really count. It was more to hear it through a big system - and the first thing I noticed was how low the bass sounded. Will work on that. And the bass drum comes in too bassy, and the drums overall are a little simple, would def agree again.

Much tweaking to be done. Thanks for having a listen.

Pleasure to be of service.

Out of interest, what are you using to produce?

Ableton. It's what I know and DJ with normally, and got a great depth to it. Still learning new stuff a year or two into using it.

Who is this btw?
